Cavendish Maine Recruitment is seeking a Private Client Account Handler for a leading Bristol broker, handling a portfolio of high net worth clients with support from Client Executives and Account Directors.

You will manage renewals, advise on coverage gaps and cross-sell where appropriate, while maintaining strong client relationships and compliant records.

Responsibilities

• Managing and servicing a portfolio of Private Client accounts from renewal through to day-to-day administration.
• Supporting Client Executives and Account Directors with broking activities, reporting and client servicing.
• Responding to client enquiries and policy changes promptly and professionally.
• Provide a proactive and professional service for internal and external contacts, including clients, insurers and colleagues.
• Identifying opportunities to improve client cover through cross-selling and reviewing gaps in cover.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Be the first point of contact for day-to-day enquiries from clients, providers and other stakeholders.

An established, independent Chartered Insurance Broker seeks a HNW / Private Client Account Handler to join their specialist Private Client team.

The Account Handler will work closely with Client Executives and Account Directors to provide expert advice and tailored insurance solutions. You will also have the opportunity to manage your own portfolio of clients with the support of the broader team.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

To be considered for the Private Client Account Handler opportunity, you will have the following experience:

• Previous personal lines insurance experience with exposure to HNW / Private Clients insurance beneficial
• Knowledge of relevant Insurance Products and services and understanding of the principles of insurance
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to negotiate effectively with clients and insurers
• Competent user of Microsoft Office applications
• Cert CII qualified or actively working towards the qualification
