Job summary

Jensten is seeking a motivated Commercial Account Handler to join our Watnall office, with hybrid working options. The role focuses on our Commercial Insurance book, mainly renewals for wheel-based clients, reporting to the General Manager.

You will understand client operations, offer insurance solutions, negotiate terms with providers, and support the team to improve performance and client satisfaction. Training and career progression are emphasised within the Insurance industry and the role

Qualifications

• Good general insurance background and knowledge - in Commercial Insurance (essential)
• Relevant qualifications (e.g Cert CII) or working towards
• Great customer service skills
• Excellent telephone manner, being able to network & build working relationships easily
• Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance
• Worked in a similar role previously, with experience of working with Insurers and clients
• Able to use initiative and can multi-task, updating relevant systems and admin
• Acturis systems knowledge & experience (ideally)

• Negotiate competitive terms with product/service providers to satisfy client requirements.
• Handle invoicing of all premiums due including effective credit control where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and FCA regulations.

The role

We’re now looking for a motivated Commercial Account Handler, to join the team here at the Jensten Group. You’ll be based at our Watnall office, and we offer hybrid working options. Reporting to the General Manager, the main purpose of the role is to focus on our Commercial Insurance book of business which is mainly made up of 'wheel based' clients- working mainly on renewals. Some key objectives & responsibilities will include:

• To understand client’s business operations, opportunities and risks and their approach to risk management and insurance.

• Offer and present insurance solutions including insurance policies and other risk management solutions, with purpose to secure renewal and/or new business.

• To assist in team performance by regular communication with colleagues and manager to establish and raise concerns and provide solutions.

• Negotiation of competitive terms with the product/service providers in order to satisfy client requirements.

• Handling invoicing of all premiums due including effective credit control, where necessary.

• To ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCA
