Job summary

PIB Insurance Brokers in Halifax is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join our Commercial Enterprise Unit. You will determine and place suitable commercial insurance solutions, review policy information, and deliver high-quality client service.

You will build relationships with clients and insurers, advise on changes, and collaborate with colleagues to identify growth opportunities while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial insurance Account Handling role and a basic understanding of the broking market, regulation and compliance are essential for this role.
• Strong client service and administration skills with excellent accuracy, attention to detail, organisation and time management, working effectively to agreed priorities.
• Confident communicator and team player, with an inquisitive nature and a passion for building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Computer literate with good MS Office skills and operational experience of Acturis, ensuring all data is updated accurately to required quality standards.

The Role - Account Handler

What You'll Be Doing
