Account Executive / Trainee Financial Adviser

Location: Exeter

A boutique firm of Financial Planners is seeking an experienced Financial Planning Administrator / Paraplanner to join the team in Exeter as a Trainee Financial Adviser.

The firm is looking for an individual who is seeking support to complete their qualifications and transition into a competent adviser within 12-18 months.

The role involves working within the Exeter office of a rapidly growing national firm, with duties including:

1. Assisting with the work of Financial Advisers in a paraplanning/trainee adviser hybrid role.
2. Writing suitability reports.
3. Product research.
4. Case preparation.
5. Preparing annual review packs for existing clients and developing new business cases alongside a financial planner.
6. Analyzing and evaluating policy information for advising purposes.
7. Shadowing the Financial Adviser in client meetings.

Applicants should have industry experience, be studying towards their Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, and be proficient with adviser analytical software and Intelligent Office.
