Gallagher in London City is seeking an experienced Account Executive to support complex commercial clients, develop strong relationships with insurers and brokers, and deliver tailored insurance programmes.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as Account Executive/Director managing complex commercial insurance programmes.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and services across multiple classes of business.
• Experience operating within the London Market with solid insurer relationships and placement strategies.
• Existing relationships within insurer/broker community advantageous.
• Working towards or holding a Chartered Insurance Institute qualification (Cert CII, Dip CII or ACII).
• Exceptional client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Consultative approach, with ability to understand client challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and service excellence.
• Eligible to work in the UK and willing to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and retain a portfolio of complex commercial clients with strategic insurance and risk management guidance.
• Lead renewal negotiations with detailed risk information and tailored solutions.

• Handle account queries and credit control matters promptly and escalate when needed.
• Represent Gallagher professionally within the market and contribute to growth of London City.

We're looking for a proven and ambitious Account Executive to join our established London City team.

How you'll make an impact

• Manage and retain a portfolio of complex commercial clients, providing strategic insurance and risk management advice.
• Lead renewal negotiations, gathering detailed risk information and presenting tailored solutions that meet client objectives.
• Build and develop strong relationships with clients, insurers and key market stakeholders.
• Work closely with specialist broking teams to deliver innovative placement strategies and optimal outcomes for clients.
• Identify opportunities to grow and develop your portfolio through cross-selling, referrals and new business activity.
• Deliver a high-touch client service proposition through regular client engagement, review meetings and strategic planning discussions.
• Support clients with claims, risk management and wider business challenges by leveraging Gallagher's specialist expertise.
• Handle account queries and credit control matters promptly, escalating issues where appropriate.
• Represent Gallagher professionally within the market and contribute to the continued growth and success of the London City business.

About You

• A proven track record as an Account Executive or Account Director managing complex commercial insurance programmes.
