Job summary

Greencore is recruiting an Account Executive to support our DTS business for Morrisons. This hybrid role can be based at Leeds Broadgate or Tamworth, with regular presence at the Tamworth depot to support operations.

You will help manage day-to-day customer requirements, gather shopper insights, and work with the National Account Manager on promotions, data validation, and reporting. This role offers exposure to a multi-million-pound account and growth opportunities within a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day customer requirements including shopper journey research and benchmarking.
• Identify insights from product range and coordinate with category/NPD teams and customer.
• Support promotional processes and activity as directed by the National Account Manager.
• Provide category analysis to support customer innovations and category planning.
• Own and deliver scheduled reporting to capture business requirements.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Executive to join our Greencore Sales team, supporting our Morrisons DTS business.

This is a flexible hybrid role and can be based out of our Leeds Broadgate office or Tamworth. Regular presence at our Tamworth depot will be required to support business operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to support our Account Manager on a newly established multi-million-pound business account win, building strong customer relationships, business win onboarding, identifying growth opportunities, and playing a key role in shaping its future success.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage all day to day customer requirements to include research on the shopper journey, product sampling and benchmarking sessions
• Identify key insights on our product range and actions internally with the category and NPD teams and with the customer
• As directed by the National Account Manager, you will be involved in the promotional process of our products and activity
• Provides category analysis to support the customer innovation and category process
• Validation and checking of sets of data to ensure business information is aligned (e.g. - Sales forecast)
• Own and deliver a schedule of reporting to capture all business requirements
• Maintain database of knowledge and data relating to our customer

What we’re looking for

• Ideally educated to degree level with a specialism in a Food/nutrition Science, have entered via an apprentice route or has equivalent work experience in a similar role/environment
• Has some experience / knowledge of food and the food environment
• Demonstrates analytical skills and is fully numerate
• Has good communication skills
• Full UK driving license
