About Ogilvy

Ogilvy Health UK comprises healthcare communication specialists across medical education and communications, brain sciences, brand promotion, digital and social media, strategic planning, public relations, and creative/design. We pride ourselves on being innovative, fostering a culture of creativity, and rewarding our team.

About the Role

Account Director - Drive Growth and Strategic Partnerships

We seek a passionate and experienced Account Director to lead and develop two key accounts within our expanding medical communications team. This role offers the chance to shape strategic partnerships and contribute to our growth.

Beyond client work, you can participate in initiatives like our culture and social teams, and various DEI groups promoting diversity. We are a friendly, non-hierarchical, eclectic team united by a desire to excel.

Our hybrid work model combines in-office collaboration at Sea Containers on Tuesdays and Wednesdays with remote work, with plans for increased in-office days and ample notice for any changes.

  2. Client Relationship Management: Building trusted relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
  3. Team Leadership: Managing internal teams to deliver quality work on time and within budget.
  4. Business Development: Expanding services and deepening client relationships to support agency growth.
What You’ll Need
  • Proven experience at a senior client service level within a medical communications or medical education agency.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading and managing teams.
  • A track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach.
  • A passion for medical communications and making a difference.
  • Additional benefits include private medical cover, a monthly leisure allowance, dental cover, 25 days annual leave plus special days, employee assistance programs, training resources, a culture committee, coaching, a pension scheme, and various employee discounts.
