Job description

Account Director (Learning & Capabilities)

London, United Kingdom

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Account Director to manage a portfolio of clients within the learning and capabilities space.

You will be part of our Client Engagement Team, leading large accounts at Inizio Engage XD level.

You will be responsible for a portfolio that may focus on specific areas of a large account, a group of smaller (<$1M) accounts, or a combination of both.

The focus will be on Learning clients, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry, but you will work across the full scope of the XD offering.

You will report to the Head of Client Engagement.

What you'll do...
  • Represent the agency within the client and wider Inizio organizations,
  • Ensure the wider agency team is set up for success on your account, either directly or by mentoring your reports to lead with great briefs and a clear client perspective.

Client & Internal Relationships

  • Establish the agency as a trusted partner with clients and procurement, leading Business Review Meetings and collaborating with subject matter experts to add value.
  • Build collaborative relationships across IEXD, including:
  • Understanding our specialisms and consulting the right experts at the right time,
  • Ensuring account ambassadors are familiar with client context (business, brand, agreements, processes),
  • Promoting a positive culture around your accounts that guides project delivery,
  • Addressing internal friction to ensure positive outcomes for clients and learnings for the agency,
  • Managing direct reports as per team structure.

Commercial Accountability

  • Understand your account's forecast components and collaborate with your CED and service line partners to plan for growth or address shortfalls.
  • Identify opportunities and assess their strategic and commercial viability.
  • Maintain Hubspot pipelines and XD forecasts following agency processes.

Agency Growth

  • Work with your Client Engagement Director to plan for growth with existing and new clients, identifying opportunities (white space).
  • Leverage the wider Inizio footprint to support growth.
  • Identify marketing opportunities through case studies and client relationships.
  • Lead pitches for your account and other opportunities following agency standards.
What you'll need to have...
  • Experience in the healthcare industry (agency experience is a bonus).
  • Experience partnering with clients to identify learning needs.
  • Experience working with SMEs to develop and implement L&D solutions.
  • Familiarity with capability development and scientific training; either or both could suffice.
  • Competitive compensation package.
