We are looking for an Account Director to work with our client.
Summary
An Account Director is responsible for leading the end-to-end process of planning and implementing advertising and communications campaigns. They collaborate with marketing, creative, production, strategy, finance, and external partners at each stage of a project, ensuring each team contributes effectively from brief to delivery.
- Strong campaign management skills, experienced in managing multiple projects end-to-end
- Ability to understand the strategic purpose of a project and its contribution to brand growth
- Experience in through-the-line communications, managing integrated 360 campaigns across multiple media formats
- Manage all deliverables typical of an integrated advertising and communications campaign
- Strong relationship-building skills, fostering trust, collaboration, and knowledge sharing to optimize team performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident in presenting to stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
- Financial acumen with rigorous management of the account's day-to-day finances
- Experience working in fast-changing environments, managing multi-stakeholder marketing teams with varying seniority levels; pan-market experience is a plus.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Write status reports and verify work against briefs
- Coordinate with marketing to agree on briefs, ensuring proper stakeholder involvement upfront
- Organize internal briefing sessions, collaborating with strategy to develop project briefs for internal teams
- Partner with Creative Directors and Executive Producers to enable the successful delivery of world-class creative work
- Work with resource and production teams to organize resources, project plans, and budgets to deliver the brief
- Manage client communications regarding project progress, issue resolution, contact reports, status meetings, and expectation management
- Lead client presentations across all project stages, gather feedback, and outline next steps
- Oversee end-to-end campaign delivery from brief to completion
- Maintain an overview of project progression, working with Production and Creative teams to ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery aligned with the original brief
- Escalate key issues and blockers to Senior Account Director and Head of Business as needed, facilitating resolution with relevant stakeholders
- Ensure financial rigor, supporting the Senior Account Director in monthly burn reporting, tracking retainer, managing budgets, and assessing new briefs’ feasibility
- Collaborate with marketing to plan upcoming projects, communicate priorities, delays, and issues to internal stakeholders
- Lead relationships with media agencies and third-party vendors to ensure effective collaboration
