Job Title: Account Director (Creative)

Client Location: London (Hybrid)

Starting: 23/06/2025

Hours: Full-time

Duration: 9 months with potential to extend

We are looking for an Account Director to work with our client.

Summary

An Account Director is responsible for leading the end-to-end process of planning and implementing advertising and communications campaigns. They work with marketing, creative, production, strategy, finance, and external partners at each stage of a project, ensuring every team plays their part from brief through to delivery.

  • Strong campaign management skills, experienced at managing multiple projects end-to-end
  • Ability to understand the strategic purpose of a project and how that contributes to brand growth
  • Experience in through-the-line communications – managing integrated 360 campaigns across multiple media formats
  • Manage all deliverables typical of an integrated advertising and communications campaign
  • Strong relationship-building skills – trust, collaboration, knowledge, and motivating team members
  • Strong communicator – written and verbal, confident in presenting to stakeholders at all levels
  • Financial acumen and rigor in managing the account daily
  • Experience working in fast-changing environments, managing multi-stakeholder marketing teams with varying seniority levels. Pan-market experience is beneficial.

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Write status reports, check work against briefs
  • Agree on the brief with marketing to ensure proper reception by the agency and relevant stakeholders
  • Organize internal briefing sessions, including working with strategy to develop briefs for internal teams
  • Partner with Creative Directors and Executive Producers to enable successful delivery of world-class creative
  • Work with resource and production teams to organize resources, project plans, and budgets
  • Manage client communications regarding project progress, issue resolution, contact reports, status meetings, and expectation management
  • Lead client presentations for creative at all project stages, gather feedback, and summarize next steps
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of campaigns from brief to completion
  • Oversee project progression, working with Production and Creative teams to ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery meeting the original brief
  • Escalate key issues and blockers to Senior Account Director and Head of Business, facilitating issue resolution involving relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain financial rigor, supporting Senior Account Director in preparing monthly burn reports, tracking retainer, overseeing budgets, and assessing new briefs
  • Coordinate with marketing for project planning, updating project schedules, and communicating upcoming priorities and issues
  • Lead relationships with media agencies and third-party vendors to ensure effective collaboration
