University of Chichester is seeking an administrative assistant at the Bognor Regis campus to deliver essential admin and front-line reception support for Accommodation Services. Salary: £25,804 to £26,093 per annum pro rata; £20,643 to £20,874 per annum
We are currently seeking an administrative assistant to join our friendly and supportive team based at our Bognor Regis campus. The key focus of this role is to provide essential administrative and reception support to the University's Accommodation Services, with a specific focus on supporting the Allocations Officer and Assistant Accommodation Officer - Private Sector Housing. You will provide efficient, effective and professional administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of the allocations process, private sector housing advice, maintenance coordination, student communication, and front-line reception services.
You will have a good general education to GCSE or equivalent, with a high standard of literacy, numeracy and attention to detail. You will need good interpersonal and communication skills, a professional manner and the ability to build relationships and respect confidentiality. You will need to be approachable, adaptable and conscientious with a strong student focus. Previous administrative experience is essential, ideally within a similar environment, as is the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage and prioritise workload.
