Job summary

Durham University invites applications for the Digital Accessibility Project Assistant role. You will contribute to instrument development, literature review, data collection and analysis, and the design of video vignettes within the DCAD project.

The position is casual/atypical student-based, 6 hours per week for 8 months (Nov 2026–Jun 2027) with a rate of £17.16 per hour, offering hybrid working with some in-person engagement.

Qualifications

• Awareness of research methods.
• Experience developing video resources.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to work flexibly, independently and in a team.
• Trustworthiness and discretion, with ability to maintain confidentiality.
