Job summary

University of Exeter seeks an enthusiastic AccessAbility Officer to provide information, advice and guidance to students and applicants with disabilities. The role supports the AccessAbility Advisors and Pathway Lead, focusing on the DSA process and signposting to services.

This is a part-time, hybrid post (21.9 hours) with pro-rata salary of £30,878. Applications from those open to job-sharing are welcomed. DBS checks apply, and there is no sponsorship for Skilled Worker visa.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with disabilities in higher education.
• Knowledge of Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSA) process.
• Able to work as part of a team and with academic staff.

Responsibilities

• Advise students on the DSA process and disability services.
• Provide information, advice and guidance to students and applicants with disabilities.
• Support AccessAbility Advisors and Pathway Lead; signpost to services.
