Job description

Accessibility Project Manager

Salary: £50,908 - £55,224 (Subject to Job Evaluation)

Duration: 2 Year Fixed Term Contract

Your role:

Lead change. Break barriers. Build accessibility into everything we do.

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Accessibility Project Manager to lead the development of an organisation-wide approach to accessibility. This is a unique opportunity to shape how accessibility is embedded into our culture, policies, processes and services, ensuring inclusion is considered from the outset rather than as an afterthought.

Working across teams and with senior stakeholders, you'll develop a practical accessibility framework, identify opportunities for improvement, influence organisational change, and help create an environment where everyone can access and benefit from our services.

We're seeking someone with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, experience of delivering organisational change, and a genuine commitment to equality, inclusion and accessibility.

This role offers the chance to leave a lasting legacy, driving improvements that will benefit colleagues, partners and communities for years to come.

If you're motivated by purpose, collaboration and making a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.

About you:

You are passionate about creating inclusive environments where everyone can participate, contribute and thrive. You understand that accessibility is more than compliance; it is about removing barriers, improving experiences and ensuring services are designed with people in mind.

You are a collaborative and influential professional who builds strong relationships and works effectively across teams, organisations and communities. You are confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, listening to diverse perspectives and using these insights to drive meaningful change.

You are proactive, adaptable and comfortable navigating complexity. You can turn ideas into action, challenge existing ways of working constructively, and inspire others to embrace new approaches. You demonstrate integrity, empathy and a commitment to continuous improvement, always keeping the needs of users at the centre of decision-making.

Most importantly, you are motivated by making a positive difference and share our commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility. You will be an advocate for inclusive design, champion best practice and help create a culture where accessibility is embedded in everything we do.

Please note, this role is currently subject to job evaluation approval.
