Job Title: Access Management Technical Specialist

Location: Coventry/Birmingham, UK (Hybrid)

Working Mode: Hybrid (3 days onsite/week)

Key Responsibilities:
  1. IAM Strategy & Roadmap:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive IAM strategy and roadmap, focusing on Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, Entra, Azure, Microsoft Defender, MS Office 365).
  • Ensure alignment with organizational goals, IT architecture, and security standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives.
  • Lead administration and optimization of Active Directory, Entra, Azure, and Defender.
  • Oversee Microsoft 365 integration and enterprise licensing management.
  • Manage shared data solutions (NetApps & DFS) in relation to IAM.
  • Implement certificate management for secure identity verification.
  • Coordinate HR provisioning workflows from SAP SuccessFactors to Active Directory.
  • Ensure IAM processes align with HR policies and business needs.
  • Maintain AD user accounts, roles, and permissions in accordance with HR data.
  • Design, build, and maintain IAM systems ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
  • Monitor IAM systems for vulnerabilities, performance, and compliance.
  • Automate user access provisioning and management processes.
  • Security & Compliance:
    • Ensure IAM solutions are secure and compliant with GDPR, industry standards, and internal policies.
    • Integrate IAM with security frameworks like Microsoft Defender and Azure Security Center.
    • Conduct audits to verify system integrity and compliance.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Work with HR, IT, security, legal teams to implement effective IAM solutions.
    • Provide support and guidance during implementation and maintenance.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert, advising leadership on IAM best practices.
    Required Skills and Experience:
    • Extensive hands-on experience in IAM within Microsoft ecosystems, including Active Directory, Entra, Azure, Defender, and MS Office 365.
    • Experience managing enterprise licensing for Microsoft 365 and shared data solutions (NetApps & DFS).
    • Knowledge of certificate management for identity verification and secure communication.
    • Experience integrating SAP SuccessFactors with Active Directory for HR provisioning.
    • Understanding of security principles like RBAC, MFA, and least privilege policies.
    • Familiarity with GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, and related standards.
    • Ability to design and maintain scalable IAM solutions.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills for complex IAM issues.
    • Excellent communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
