Job summary

BDO UK is seeking an IT Service Desk Access Control Analyst to support secure and efficient access to our information systems. The role processes access requests, administers user identities and permissions, and collaborates with IT and security teams to maintain strong controls.

You’ll handle Joiner/Mover/Leaver activity, escalate security concerns and contribute to documentation and continuous improvement across the access management process.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer-focused support via calls, tickets, email and other channels.
• Experience with IT service management platforms, preferably ServiceNow.
• Experience in IT support, service desk, access administration or identity/access management.
• Good understanding of user account administration, access permissions and security groups.
• Knowledge of least privilege, authorisation, audit trails and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Process and fulfill access control requests per procedures and SLAs.
• Create, modify, disable and re-enable user accounts and permissions.
• Support Joiner, Mover and Leaver lifecycle (JML).
• Monitor access controls and ticket queues with timely customer updates.
• Maintain ticket records and audit trails per governance requirements.
• Provide guidance on access control policies and security best practices.
• Collaborate with IT, Information Security and governance teams.
