Job summary

NSS Group, part of NSS Testing, is seeking a Fall Protection Installation & Inspection Engineer to join our height safety team in the UK. The role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing fall arrest systems, eyebolts, gantries, guardrails, ladders and lifting equipment while ensuring adherence to British Standards and safety regulations.

The successful candidate will work flexibly, including nights or weekends as required, with opportunities for training and development through

Qualifications

• Experience / competency to work at height.
• Full, clean driving license.
• Must have good communication skills and be well organised.

Responsibilities

• Deliver servicing, maintenance and repairs to height safety equipment.
• Install fall arrest equipment and life safety lines.
• Inspect eyebolts for fall restraint and abseil.
• Maintain gantries, walkways and guardrails.
• Inspect ladders and lifting equipment; ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Highlight additional works required after service or reactive tasks.

The Division

NSS Testing – this division specialises in testing and installation of commercial building assets, from fall arrest equipment, life safety systems to automation and access control. The role we are looking to fill is for a Roof Access Systems Engineer to work within our skilled team of height safety engineers.

Responsibilities of the role:

To deliver servicing, maintenance and repairs to height safety equipment including the following -

• Fall Arrest and Life Safety Lines

• Eyebolts – fall restraint and abseil

• Gantries and walkways

• Guardrails

• Ladders – fixed and portable

• General lifting equipment

• Ensuring that health and safety regulations and guidelines are followed at all times and to comply with British Standards.

• To highlight any further works required following service or reactive works.

• Support of other divisions when required

Requirements required:
