Job summary

Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is seeking experienced Fall Protection Engineers to inspect, test, maintain and install height safety systems across the UK. The role requires hands-on work at height, reporting findings, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The position offers a field-based nationwide schedule, a company van, and a £4,000 joining bonus. Overtime is available and training opportunities are provided to advance in the PTSG Access & Safety division.

Qualifications

• Experience with height safety systems and fall protection
• Background as Fall Protection or Height Safety Engineer
• Experience producing inspection/compliance reports
• Experience inspecting, testing, maintaining or installing height safety systems
• Comfortable working at height and UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test roof access and height safety systems across the UK
• Maintain and install fall protection equipment
• Produce clear inspection reports and document remediation needs
• Ensure compliance with British Standards and Health & Safety requirements
• Support other divisions as required

Location: Field Based - Nationwide

Salary: Competitive, based on experience + Company Van

The Role

We are looking for experienced Fall Protection Engineers to join our growing team.

This is a hands‑on role carrying out inspection, testing, maintenance and installation of a wide range of roof access and height safety systems across the UK.

You will be responsible for:

• Fall Arrest & Lifeline Systems
• Anchor Points & Eyebolts
• Guardrails
• Fixed and Portable Ladders
• Walkways and Gantries
• Roof Access Systems
• General Lifting Equipment
• Ensuring all systems comply with relevant British Standards and Health & Safety requirements
• Identifying and reporting remedial works
• Producing clear and accurate inspection reports
• Supporting other specialist divisions where required

You’ll need:

• Experience with manufacturers such as MSA Latchways, Kee Safety, SFS, Ridgegear, Isoka or similar height safety systems
• Fall Protection Engineer or Height Safety Engineer background
• Experience producing inspection and compliance reports
• Experience inspecting, testing, maintaining or installing fall protection or height safety systemsExperience working with lifelines, anchor points, guardrails, ladders, walkways or similar roof access systems
• Comfortable working at height
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
