Job summary

PTSG Access & Safety is seeking an experienced Fall Protection Engineer to inspect, test, maintain and install height safety systems across the UK. The role is field-based nationwide, offering a company van and a £4,000 joining bonus.

You will work to ensure compliance with BS and health and safety standards, reporting findings and coordinating remedial works as needed. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with systems like MSA Latchways, Kee Safety and similar, are comfortable at height,

Qualifications

• Experience with height safety systems such as MSA Latchways, Kee Safety, SFS, Ridgegear or similar.
• Fall Protection Engineer background and experience producing inspection/compliance reports.
• Experience inspecting, testing, maintaining or installing fall protection or height safety systems.
• Experience working with lifelines, anchor points, guardrails, ladders, walkways or similar roof access systems.
• Comfortable working at height and holding a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection, testing, maintenance and installation of roof access and height safety systems across the UK.
• Produce clear and accurate inspection reports.
• Identify and report remedial works and non-conformities.
• Ensure all systems comply with British Standards and Health & Safety requirements.
• Support other specialist divisions where required.

Fall Protection Engineer / Height Safety Engineer

Location: Field Based - Nationwide

Salary: Competitive, based on experience + Company Van

£4,000 Joining Bonus

The Role

We are looking for experienced Fall Protection Engineers to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on role carrying out inspection, testing, maintenance and installation of a wide range of roof access and height safety systems across the UK.

You will be responsible for:

• Fall Arrest & Lifeline Systems
• Anchor Points & Eyebolts
• Guardrails
• Fixed and Portable Ladders
• Walkways and Gantries
• Roof Access Systems
• General Lifting Equipment
• Ensuring all systems comply with relevant British Standards and Health & Safety requirements
• Identifying and reporting remedial works
• Producing clear and accurate inspection reports
• Supporting other specialist divisions where required

You’ll need:

• Experience with manufacturers such as MSA Latchways, Kee Safety, SFS, Ridgegear, Isoka or similar height safety systems
• Fall Protection Engineer or Height Safety Engineer background
• Experience producing inspection and compliance reports
• Experience inspecting, testing, maintaining or installing fall protection or height safety systems
• Experience working with lifelines, anchor points, guardrails, ladders, walkways or similar roof access systems
• Comfortable working at height
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
