Job summary

Leicestershire County Cricket Club is hiring an Academy Strength & Conditioning Coach to develop the next generation of cricketers. You will lead physical preparation and basketball for the academy, working closely with the S&C team to raise performance standards.

Based in Leicester, this full-time, permanent role offers a clear progression path within professional cricket and requires a dedicated S&C practitioner to deliver high-quality programmes and injury prevention strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the programming and delivery of physical preparation for Academy players.
• Deliver strength and conditioning sessions for Men’s Age Group squads.
• Provide sports science support to enhance performance and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with Head of Strength & Conditioning and Sport Science & Medicine teams.

Academy Strength & Conditioning Coach

The Academy Strength and Conditioning Coach will lead the programming and delivery of physical preparation and provide sports science support for the Club’s Men’s Academy. The role will oversee and deliver strength and conditioning sessions for the Men’s Age Group squads within Leicestershire County Cricket Club’s player pathway. The successful candidate will be highly motivated to develop a career in strength and conditioning. As an important member of the Sports Science and Medicine Department, they will contribute to improving the quality and consistency of the Club’s physical preparation provision.
