Our client’s state-of-the-art Technical Training Academy is seeking an AcademyMaintenance Technician to support training activities and take responsibility formaintenance and stock control.
They are passionate about empowering individuals with practical skills andtechnical knowledge to succeed across a wide range of industries.They are now looking for a hands-on, organised, and technically minded individualto join their growing team.
In this vital role, you’ll ensure the training centre runs smoothly—providinglogistical, technical, and operational support to help trainers and learners get themost from their experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
Assist in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Academy facility
Support trainers during sessions and help create engaging, hands-onlearning environments
Maintain and troubleshoot technical equipment, ensuring everything is insafe working order
Manage the ordering, stock control, and distribution of tools, uniforms, andequipment for engineers
Maintain accurate records of issued equipment and oversee the calibrationof training tools
Collaborate with the wider team to continuously improve the training offerand learner experience
Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the Academyinfrastructure
What You’ll Bring
Practical experience in maintenance, electrical, or plumbing tasks(qualifications desirable but not essential)
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability toprioritise tasks independently
Comfortable with technical equipment, including software and trainingrelated tools
Excellent attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communicationskills
A collaborative and proactive attitude, with confidence to engage withtrainers and learners
Previous experience in a training support or technical facilities role is a plus
