Academy Health and Wellbeing Physiologist

Location: Canary Wharf | Specialty: Physiology | Contract: Permanent | Hours: Full time

Starting Salary: £28,000 per annum | 40 hours per week

In this entry role within our Physiology department, you’ll make a difference, not just a living. We’re transforming healthcare in the UK by integrating assessment, treatment, and prevention services to provide comprehensive care.

As an Academy Physiologist at our Canary Wharf Medical Centre, you’ll need a minimum 2:2 degree in Sport and Exercise Science or equivalent. Your studies should include human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology, and nutrition, with practical application experience.

While your base location will be Canary Wharf, all our Physiology roles are mobile, requiring travel around London.

As an Academy Physiologist, you will:

• Join a multidisciplinary team of doctors, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Complete our in-house three-week training course
• Promote health and fitness as part of our holistic health service
• Deliver health assessments supporting health and wellbeing goals
• Support prevention, rehabilitation, and recovery efforts
• Provide passionate and caring service, prioritizing client needs
• Complete our award-winning preceptorship programme within your first 12 months
