Academy Health and Wellbeing Physiologist

Location: Canary Wharf | Field: Physiology | Type: Permanent, Full-time

Starting Salary: £28,000 | 40 hours per week

About the Role

In this entry-level position within our Physiology department, you will contribute to transforming healthcare in the UK by integrating assessment, treatment, and prevention services to provide comprehensive care.

As an Academy Physiologist at our Canary Wharf Medical Centre, you should possess a minimum 2:2 degree in Sport and Exercise Science or an equivalent qualification. Your background should include human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology, and nutrition, with the ability to apply this knowledge practically.

This role is based in Canary Wharf, but all Academy Physiology roles are mobile, requiring travel around London.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including doctors and physiotherapists
• Complete our in-house three-week training course
• Promote health and fitness as part of our holistic health services
• Conduct health assessments to support clients' health and wellbeing goals
• Support prevention, rehabilitation, and recovery efforts
• Provide compassionate, client-centered service
• Participate in our award-winning preceptorship programme during the first 12 months
