Job Title: Academy Goalkeeper Coach
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our Academy team as a sessional Academy Goalkeeper Coach at Bolton Wanderers Football Club.
Responsibilities:
- Coach and support the development of players in all aspects of football, including technical, tactical, physical, psychological, social, and emotional aspects.
- Manage players during coaching sessions and Academy fixtures.
- Liaise regularly with players and parents regarding progress and development.
- Ensure the welfare and safety of players during coaching sessions and fixtures.
- Supervise players during travel to and from away fixtures.
- Manage and maintain all kit and equipment provided by BWFC.
- Compile individual player reviews and game reports weekly using the Football Intelligence Platform.
- Plan and deliver Player Performance Reviews and Parent/Guardian meetings twice yearly, in line with Academy guidelines.
General Responsibilities:
- Represent the club professionally, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive image.
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Adhere to BWFC policies, procedures, and guidelines, including those related to Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, and Diversity.
- Perform other duties relevant to the role and club objectives.
Candidate Requirements:
- Hold a minimum of a UEFA B Licence.
- Be working towards or hold relevant age-related coaching qualifications, such as FA Youth Award Modules 1-3.
- Be a member or plan to become a member of the FA Licensed Coaching Club.
- Hold valid Safeguarding Children and Emergency Aid (EFAiF) certifications.
- Demonstrate customer focus, effective communication, team working, and personal effectiveness.
