Job summary

Fleetwood Town Football Club is seeking an Education & Player Care Officer to support the educational, personal and holistic development of players within our Category 2 Academy.

The role focuses on education and pastoral support for part-time academy players, contributing to broader Player Care across the Academy. Based at the Poolfoot Farm Training Complex, the post requires flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience with children and young people in education, sport, youth development or related environments.
• Understanding educational and pastoral needs of young people.
• Experience providing pastoral or welfare support to youths.
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with young people.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary education contact for Academy players.
• Coordinate school reports and monitor educational progress.
• Support players in balancing football and education commitments.
• Maintain education records and collaborate with Academy staff.
• Promote education importance and engage parents and schools.
