Job summary

Norwich City Football Club is seeking a driver to support the Academy by transporting players to training, school, and matches, including weekends. The role is a permanent annualised hours contract averaging 20 hours per week across the year.

You will need a D1 driving license and mini-bus driving experience, with excellent communication and flexibility to cover games and training at short notice. Benefits include competitive leave and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Transporting Academy players to and from training at the Avant Training Centre during the week and at weekends.
• Transporting players to and from school.
• Assisting with trialist chaperoning.
• Covering transport to games during the week and at weekends on request.
• Work flexible hours, sometimes on short notice.
• Ensure safety and compliance with driving regulations.

Job description

The role is a permanent annualised hours contract with an average of 20 hours per week (1,040 hours across 12 months) and involves working variable hours throughout the week, and on weekends. Key tasks/responsibilities include, but is not limited to:

• Transporting Academy players to and from training at the Avant Training Centre during the week and at weekends
• Transporting players to and from school
• Assisting with trialist chaperoning
• Covering transport to games during the week as well as Saturdays and Sundays upon request. Ability to work flexible hours, sometimes on short notice
• Excellent communication skills, Mini-Bus Driving Experience
• D1 Driving License
