Job summary

Liverpool John Moores University invites applications for an Academic Programme Tutor to support the Probation Practitioner Apprenticeship Programme. You will contribute to academic delivery, develop teaching materials and assess apprentices, while coaching probation colleagues and working with stakeholders.

The role requires experience in HE or workplace teaching, with an understanding of apprenticeship standards; a postgraduate degree in criminal justice or related field is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience of teaching and learning activities within Higher Education and/or workplace.
• Understanding of apprenticeship requirements and apprenticeship standards.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the academic delivery and assessment of the Probation Practitioner Apprenticeship Programme.
• Develop high-quality teaching, learning and assessment materials.
• Support and coach probation colleagues on their apprenticeship, liaising with key stakeholders.
