Job summary

Arm is seeking a Technical Ecosystem Engineer for Academic Communities in the United Kingdom. You will work at the intersection of FAEs, Developer Relations, and Strategic Partnerships to promote Arm roadmaps to universities, training partners, and emerging developer communities, creating workshops and scalable enablement programs.

You will lead technically, travel globally, build repeatable curricula, and partner with BU leads to drive adoption across Edge/Cloud/Physical AI, while representing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid foundation in computer architecture concepts, embedded systems, or software development (e.g., C/C++, Python, Linux, or RTOS environments).
• Experience in Field Applications Engineering (FAE), Solutions Architecture, Developer Relations (DevRel), or Technical Enablement.
• Demonstrated experience creating or delivering technical training, workshops, developer labs, or live demonstrations to engineering audiences.
• Proven ability to navigate complex technical conversations with external partners (universities, or enterprise developers) and internal matrixed teams.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex architectural concepts to both students and senior staff.
• Willingness to travel globally as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive Adoption: Guide universities, developers, and training partners worldwide to adopt priority Arm technologies, tools, and software frameworks.
• Hands-on Support: Deliver technical workshops, hands-on labs, platform demonstrations, and troubleshooting for Arm developer tools and reference architectures.
• Focus on Key Workloads: Enable developers on Edge AI, Cloud AI, and Physical AI.
• Academic & Community Engagement: Partner with regional managers and BU leads to embed Arm tech into curricula, design challenges, and global initiatives.
• Scalable Frameworks: Design repeatable learning pathways, train-the-trainer models, and co-certification programmes that scale globally.
• Pilot-to-Deployment Ownership: Provide technical guidance from initial validation through pilot phases to full-scale deployment.
• Feedback Loop: Gather insights to inform Arm’s product and enablement roadmaps.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align global activities with Business Units and GTM priorities.
• Representation: Represent Arm at international conferences, developer summits, hackathons, and technical panels.
