Randstad Student Support is looking for a Specialist Mentor for Mental Health to assist autistic students at universities. This hybrid role involves supporting students with strategies for managing their studies and personal challenges, ensuring a tailored approach to each individual's needs.
£28 per hour plus accrued holiday pay at £3.38 per hour

Randstad Student Support is recruiting for a Specialist Mentor for Mental Health to work with autistic students studying at universities and colleges.
The role begins at the start of the new academic year and is a hybrid role. All successful candidates must be able to travel to the local university or college and offer both in-person and online sessions flexibly to meet student preferences.
As a Specialist Mentor, you will be a trusted advisor for students. You will support students throughout the full academic year by helping them reflect on their experiences and introducing strategies to overcome barriers.

It is essential to consider individual student needs case by case, act professionally, and maintain confidentiality at all times. All relevant information should be shared with Randstad to ensure the best service.
Requirements for the role:
As this is a specialist role, you must hold membership with one of the following professional bodies. All students supported are funded by the Disabled Students Allowance (DSA), so candidates must adhere to the qualification frameworks set by the DfE.
