Capel Manor College is seeking an Academic Success Tutor to help learners thrive by delivering engaging lessons and targeted support. You will develop literacy and numeracy, assist with assignments, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback, while modeling the attitudes and behaviours expected of students.

The role includes full training and ongoing support from an experienced Lecturer, with the actual salary ranging from £14,775 to £22,767 depending on qualification level, including

We are looking for a passionate and committed individual to join our team to teach and support students and ensure their academic success. You will be developing their literacy and numeracy skills, supporting with assignments, providing bespoke support to students who need that support in order to allow them to develop their academic skills and succeed on their course and career pathway. This will involve preparing and delivering stimulating lessons, setting goals that stretch and challenge all students, monitoring and assessing student progress, giving feedback and consistently demonstrating the positive attitudes, values and behaviours which are expected of students. Teaching is a hugely rewarding career. It gives students a voice and can show them that words are powerful things; the
things that can help them to succeed in life. We are looking for qualified teachers who can offer structured individualised and group support. This includes a comprehensive induction programme, ongoing support from an experienced Lecturer . The actual salary for this role is £14,775 - £16,354 for Unqualified Lecturers and £17,255 - £22,767 for Qualified Lecturers, inclusive of London Weighting.
