Kepak is one of Europe's leading food producers, seeking a Knife Skills Operative to join our team at our Bodmin site. As a Knife Skills Operative, your role will be essential in ensuring that our meat products are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.
As a company, we are proud of our heritage of meat craft and trusted quality, and we believe that sustainability and animal welfare are integral to our business. Our 12 manufacturing plants across Ireland and the UK are dedicated to producing innovative and nutritionally valuable food products, all while remaining grounded in our communities and the natural world.
You will start work at 06:30 in the morning and work until production is finished, Monday to Friday with weekends off. This role offers a full-time contract based on 45 hours per week; any hours worked over the 45 will be paid at time & quarter of your hourly rate. You will have 2 x 30 min breaks per day.
Depending on your experience, you will start on £12.44 per hour, which can increase as you learn and develop, with the top earning potential being £19.44 per hour.
