Job summary

Dunbia is seeking General Operatives to join the Abattoir Production Areas at our Lindal in Furness (Ulverston) site. You will work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment to meet department and customer specifications.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, enthusiastic and flexible, with a willingness to learn new skills and contribute to a team focused on safety, quality and continuous improvement across our UK sites.

Responsibilities

• Follow and be aware of the departmental SOPs.
• Maintain the face pace environment in line with production needs.
• Work with the manager and team to achieve the department targets.
• Ensure customer and company specifications are achieved.
• Work to a clean as you go policy, ensure your work area is kept clean at all times and ensure it is cleaned when production is finished.
• Promote and maintain Health, Safety and Hygiene standards in accordance with company rules and regulations.
• Involvement in the slaughter and following processes of sheep and cattle in accordance with animal welfare regulations and guidelines.
