Job summary

Bierman Autism Centers is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide life-changing ABA therapy to children aged 2–12 in a center-based setting. You will work 1:1 with clients, following BCBA-approved plans and collecting data to track progress.

The role includes on-site training, opportunities for advancement, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits. Prior ABA experience is a plus; RBT certification or plan to obtain it within 90 days is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or obtain RBT certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must be able to lift and carry clients who are at least 30 pounds.
• Must attend required trainings and follow BACB guidelines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Experience working with children ages 2–12 and knowledge of ABA principles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions with clients aged 2–12.
• Follow prescribed skill acquisition and behavior support plans.
• Collect and record data and write therapy notes for each session.
• Communicate progress to parents/caregivers with guidance from the BCBA.
• Assist the BCBA in preparing and organizing client materials.
• Maintain and acquire knowledge by attending required trainings.
• Work toward becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) if not already.
