REESON Education is seeking an experienced ABA Assistant to join a specialist SEN setting in South West London. You will support pupils individually and in small groups, helping develop communication, learning and independence.

Ideal candidates have recent SEN school experience, familiarity with autism, and a calm, structured approach to delivering programs while recording progress and collaborating with teachers and other SEN professionals.

Are you an experienced ABA Assistant with a background supporting autistic children or young people?

REESON Education is looking for a confident and committed ABA Assistant to join a specialist SEN setting in South West London.

This role would particularly suit someone with recent SEN school experience who enjoys structured, practical work and wants to develop their expertise supporting autistic pupils.

The ABA Assistant role

Working as part of a specialist team, you will support pupils individually and in small groups, helping them develop their communication, learning, independence and engagement.

Your day could include:

• Supporting individual learning programmes


• Delivering structured interventions


• Reinforcing positive behaviour and engagement


• Supporting communication development


• Recording pupil progress


• Helping pupils develop independence


• Working closely with teachers and other SEN professionalsThis is an active, hands-on position where consistency, patience and attention to detail really matter.

We're looking for

Applications are particularly welcomed from people with recent experience in an SEN school or specialist autism setting.

The successful ABA Assistant will ideally have:

• Recent SEN school experience


• Experience supporting autistic pupils


• Previous ABA experience or relevant training


• Strong communication skills


• Excellent consistency and reliability


• Confidence managing challenging situations calmly


• The ability to follow structured programmes while responding to individual pupils


• A genuine interest in developing a career within specialist education

Previous experience as an ABA Tutor, ABA Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Autism Support Worker may be particularly relevant.
