Job summary

Mercator Crewing is seeking an experienced AB Workboat Deckhand for offshore work on SOVs. Contract runs for 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off, with vessel DIS flag noted. Boarding dates include 16 September 2026 and 14 October 2026.

Applicants must hold VHF-SRC and STCW II/4 qualifications, plus STCW safety certifications. Candidates should be familiar with offshore safety protocols, personal safety and emergency response procedures, and survival craft basics.

Qualifications

• VHF-SRC Certificate required.
• Rating forming part of navigational watch (STCW II/4) required.
• STCW certificates listed for safety, fire fighting and first aid.
• Survival craft and rescue boats knowledge (not fast rescue boat) required.
• Security awareness for seafarers with designated duties required.
