Job summary

Liverpool College offers a Level 2 Accounts/Finance Apprenticeship in partnership with Kaplan. You’ll gain hands-on workplace experience while pursuing a recognised qualification in finance and accounting.

The role involves daily bookkeeping tasks, invoicing, and income reporting, with training enabling progression to Level 3. Working week is Monday to Friday, with shifts to be confirmed.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (9-4) required.
• Strong communication and IT skills.
• Organised with attention to detail and good numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Save bank statements and post to correct accounts.
• Process daily orders and invoices.
• Post cash/transaction entries and receipts.
• Maintain donations and income spreadsheets.
• Complete weekly income reports from Bromcom.
• Respond to catering queries and meal charges.
• Handle lunch charges corrections as needed.
• Assist with petty cash and bank deposits.
• Support data entry and record keeping.
• Support accounts team with general admin.

What You'll Do

Job duties;

• Save bank statements
• Ordering daily
• Post card machines transactions
• Post Sch Fund bank transaction (inc trip income)
• Post donations account bank transaction
• Update donations spreadsheet
• Sales Invoices
• Post Petty Cash
• Lunch Queries- remove any incorrect lunch charges as and when needed
• Pull the income reports off Bromcom weekly and fill in the trip requests
• Catering- all catering requests and queries
• Count any cash income and get it ready for the bank
