Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited seeks an experienced reliability engineer to support A400M maintenance and engineering operations at Brize Norton. You will act as the analytical backbone, liaising with technicians, the engineering enterprise, and the RAF to maximise aircraft availability.

The role requires a proactive mindset, Part-M/Part-145 familiarity, and strong data analytics with experience in AMOS or SAP. We value adaptability in a dynamic defence environment.

Qualifications

• Proven background in aviation maintenance, continuing airworthiness, or reliability engineering.
• Experience directly supporting the A400M platform or similar heavy military transport aircraft.
• Analytical thinker with strong communication and airworthiness understanding.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze maintenance, operational and defect data to identify reliability trends.
• Lead investigations into recurring defects and component failures with permanent solutions.
• Propose modifications to maintenance programs to improve fleet availability and reduce costs.
• Produce platform reliability reports for stakeholders and the RAF, highlighting KPIs and actions.
• Collaborate with Airbus central engineering in Spain/France, OEMs, and on-site teams to resolve issues.
