Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Repair Technician for our Uxbridge warehouse. You will repair Encore equipment and road cases, support QC processes, and help track parts inventory and repairs.

Responsibilities include inspecting gear at locations, reporting repair metrics, and assisting with equipment deliveries. The role requires an associate degree or equivalent and experience with AV/lighting repair, testing, and soldering.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a related technical discipline.
• 1+ years experience in component fault isolation and repair.
• Experience repairing professional AV/lighting or consumer electronics is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot analog and digital circuitry to component level.
• Proficiency with test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, signal generators).
• Good soldering/De-soldering skills (through-hole & SMT).
• Self-motivated, independent and able to work in teams.
• Good mechanical skills and basic MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and cosmetic repairs on Encore equipment and road cases.
• Support quality control processes and procedures.
• Design and build devices to improve equipment performance.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and repair-related procurement.
• Visit Encore locations to inspect gear and identify repair needs.
• Report key repair metrics and ROI.
