A&O Shearman Brand Ambassador

We are now acceptingapplications to become the next A&O Shearman Brand Ambassador!

  • You will be paid£14.15 per hourfor this role.
  • You will be required to work approximately2 hours per weekfromearly September 2025 until early March 2026.

Responsibilities of an A&O Shearman Brand Ambassador
  • Work towards objectives and targets set by OCP and A&O Shearman.
  • Collaborate with clubs and societies to raise awareness of A&O Shearman.
  • Carry out promotional activities on campus to raise awareness of A&O Shearman. You must be comfortable with regular lecture shout outs,Meet the Brand Ambassadorevents, hosting workshops on campus, and collaborating regularly with societies to increase our brand awareness on campus.
  • Utilise social media channels to share information about A&O Shearman. You must be proficient in using LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok to create and promote engaging content to support the A&O Shearman campus campaign.
  • Gather feedback from students and provide insights and reports to the OCP team.
Role Requirements
  • You must be a 2nd or penultimate year student as of September 2025 - we will not be accepting final year applications, and we will not be accepting applications from those studying abroad for the year.
  • You must be on track to achieve a 2:1 & have gained AAB or equivalent at A-Level.
  • Availability to work 2-3 hours per week both on and off campus from September – March.
  • Comfortable working independently, both on campus and on social media. You must be confident producing social media content, including short form video content.
  • Ability to maintain regular communication with your OCP manager via our mobile app.
  • Passionate about the legal industry and helping others achieve their career goals with A&O Shearman.

Additional Requirements

  • You must be a member of your university Law Society. Other society memberships and extra-curriculars are also required.
  • We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have an interest in inclusion and widening access to the legal industry.
  • You must be able to think outside the box and seek out new opportunities.
  • You must be available to attend in-person training for your new role at the A&O Shearman London office onMonday 1st and Tuesday 2nd September.

What is the Application Process?

Step one:Register with OCP & apply for the Single-Employer Brand Ambassador role.

Step two:Complete an online application for the A&O Shearman role and submit a 30 second clip of content in the style of your current favourite socials trend.

Step three:If your application has been successful, you will be invited to attend a 20-minute virtual interview with OCP and A&O Shearman.

Step four:OCP will let you know the outcome of your application.

Important to note:If successful following your interview, you will be invited to attend compulsory training days in A&O Shearman’s London office onMonday 1st and Tuesday 2nd September.

If you are unsuccessful, you will be offered the opportunity to join a virtual call with the A&O Shearman team who will give you exclusive hints and tips for our Vacation Scheme applications.
