Marchant Recruitment is seeking an outstanding Computer Science Teacher for a prestigious independent school in Kensington, London. The role covers KS4/IGCSE and KS5/A-Level with state-of-the-art labs and a strong track record of student progression to top universities.

The ideal candidate will hold a 2:1 or a first-class degree in CS/SE, QTS or substantial A-Level CS teaching experience, and demonstrate proficiency in Python, Java, C++, and C#.

Qualifications

• 2:1 or first-class degree in Computer Science or related field from a leading university.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or proven experience teaching A-Level CS in independent or strong state schools.
• Strong mastery of languages such as Python, Java, C++, and C# with proven A-Level outcomes.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-level Computer Science teaching across GCSE/IGCSE and A-Level, focusing on algorithms, OOP, data structures and architecture.
• Teach core programming languages and guide Sixth Form students through practical software development projects.
• Prepare Sixth Form students for university applications and coding competitions (e.g., Oxbridge interviews, national coding contests).
• Lead or contribute to co-curricular tech initiatives, such as Coding Clubs, AI/Robotics societies, Hackathons.
