The position is full-time and permanent, with an ASAP start in a high-achieving Computing Department. You will plan and deliver engaging CS lessons, assess progress, and support students across year groups.

Qualifications

• Requires Computer Science Degree or related subject
• QTS or recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level
• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4, including GCSE
• GCSE Computer Science experience and strong programming knowledge
• Good understanding of algorithms and computational thinking
• Confident classroom and behaviour management
• Strong planning and assessment skills
• Commitment to student progress and achievement

Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science across KS3 & KS4, including GCSE
• Deliver engaging lessons and develop problem-solving skills
• Assess student progress and adapt lessons as needed
• Plan schemes of work and monitor student outcomes
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources and curriculum
