University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Trust in the West Midlands is seeking a Band 5 A&E Nurse. You will work flexible shifts across the Royal Derby Hospital and Queens Hospital, triaging and treating resus patients with skilled efficiency while delivering the highest standards of care.

Formación

Be a registered nurse.
At least 2 years post-graduate experience.
6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
Enhanced background check.

Responsabilidades

Provide constant monitoring and care for patients in a seriously ill or unstable condition.
Actively supporting emergency admissions and their families, communicating clinical information to ensure understanding.
Assess and prioritise patient requirements, delegating effectively to others.
Recognise, review and report patients' condition and any changes to senior staff.
Adhere to the NMC Code of Conduct.
Take blood and cannula care, undertake patient observations as needed.
Treat and triage resus patients.
