Blink - The Employee App is seeking a qualified accountant to join for a fixed 9-month contract, reporting to the Finance Director. The role is based in London with in-office work three days per week, handling global consolidation, audits, and statutory accounts across four entities.

It requires broad international tax exposure, payroll oversight for US/UK, and a fast ramp. The position is execution-focused, with heavy year-end deliverables and close collaboration with advisors.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA or equivalent.
• Led group audit prep and sign-off as the preparer.
• Experience consolidating multiple entities and currencies.
• Statutory accounts exposure for US and UK; APAC a bonus.
• International tax exposure: transfer pricing, permanent establishment, sales tax.
• Payroll oversight across US and UK.
• Fast ramp with minimal coaching; available ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Audit and statutory reporting.
• Group and APAC audit prep and delivery (FRS 102).
• Statutory accounts across Aus, NZ, US, UK.
• R&D capitalization methodology that passes audit first time.
• Payroll across the group.
• Month end review and sign-off.
• Covenant reporting.
• Coordinate with external advisors and auditors.
