Job summary

WORKwithYORK is seeking a Bin Delivery Driver in York. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7.00am–3.00pm, for 3–6 months with immediate start. You will drive a 7.5t tail-lift vehicle, deliver bins/boxes, and assist with bin store management while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Strong customer service is essential as you will work independently within a team environment and liaise with city centre clients and commercial waste customers.

Qualifications

• Must have good customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and manage workload.
• Must hold a current Category B Driving licence and be able to drive a 7.5t tail-lift vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 tonne tail-lift vehicle to deliver bins/boxes.
• Remove bins and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Manage the bin store and keep the area clean and safe.
• Deliver trade bags to the city centre for commercial waste customers.
• Work Mon-Fri, 7:00–15:00, York, immediate start.
