Job summary

DPD UK is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to operate a local route, delivering parcels with high service standards. The role involves loading, unloading, and navigating with Saturn handheld devices to ensure accurate deliveries and maintained customer satisfaction.

You will work Monday to Friday with a startup window around 07:00–08:30, and the company emphasizes internal progression and a green, sustainable approach to logistics.

Qualifications

• A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience handling 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, approachable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically active and comfortable with lifting in the job.
• Respectful to customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes with 40–50 stops daily.
• Use Saturn handheld devices for routing, deliveries and progress tracking.
• Provide friendly customer service and reliable delivery to destinations.
• Load and unload parcels using appropriate equipment and safe lifting techniques.
