Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide in Leicester is hiring a Collection and Delivery Driver (7.5t) on a permanent contract. You’ll sort parcels, plan routes, perform essential vehicle safety checks and deliver to homes and businesses, ensuring a friendly, dependable service.

The role offers a starting salary of £25,201 with progression to £27,561 after six months and a potential up to £30,000 per year with overtime. A full UK driving licence (Cat B) and (Cat C1) are required.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points.
• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat C1 up to 7.5 tonnes) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points and DCQC accreditation.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30 kg.

Responsibilities

• Sorting parcels and planning efficient delivery routes.
• Carrying out essential vehicle safety checks.
• Collecting and delivering parcels to homes and businesses.
• Providing a friendly, dependable service — whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail
