Job summary

A reputable logistics company in Nottingham is seeking a driver for a permanent role to deliver palletised goods and collect empty pallets. The position requires a valid HGV 2 Licence and good English communication skills. You will work on weekend shifts starting at 06:00 with initial pay of £11.59 per hour increasing after 12 weeks. Manual handling will be involved, and safety gear is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid HGV 2 Licence.

• No more than 6 points on driving license.

Job description

Please note that this position is open to UK applicants only

This Position Welcomes New Passes and is a Permanent Role for the right person.

You will be required to complete between 4 to 6 drops per day delivering palletised goods and collecting empty pallets, Manual handling will be involved and you will be provided with a pump truck.

This role will work on shift patterns and a rota will be provided a week in advance.

Before starting your first shift, you will be required to attendan induction.

Duration: This role will be permanent for the right candidate

Hourly Rate: The rate of pay is £11.59 per hour (PAYE) for the first 12 weeks. Following this you will receive an increase to £12.05 per hour.

Working Hours: Working Saturday and Sunday with a start time of 06:00

Closing Date: 1st Feb 2021
