7.5T HGV Driver

At GI Group, we have an exciting opportunity for both experienced and new drivers to join our client based in Warwick as a 7.5T driver. The role is temporary, from February to April 2025.

Role Overview:

• Handball is expected, including pushing trolleys, and some multi-drop runs (up to 10 per shift).
• Training will be provided on the job as this is a temporary transfer position.
• Candidates should be confident in vehicle checks and completing defects paperwork.
• Good communication with the site regarding delays or issues is essential.

Shifts and Hours:

• Monday to Friday, no weekends.
• Start times between 04:00 and 06:00 am.

Pay Rates:

• Monday to Friday: £14.00 / £15.68 per hour, including holiday pay.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid HGV license with relevant certifications.
• Previous experience is preferred but not essential.
• Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
