Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking qualified 7.5T drivers to join a two-person home delivery team in Northampton, delivering kitchens and bathrooms on behalf of Wickes. The role offers a Class 2 Driver Development Programme to help you obtain a Category C licence through internal training.

You will work 45 hours per week, starting between 04:00 and 06:00, on a Tuesday–Saturday shift pattern. A KPI bonus and pension are provided along with benefits and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

Valid and in-date C1 driving licence.
Valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
Possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
No more than 6 current penalty points.
No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

Deliver kitchen and bathroom flat-pack products to customers’ homes.
Provide excellent face-to-face customer service.
Drive company vehicles safely and in line with policies and law.
Complete vehicle and equipment checks before each shift and report defects.
Work independently using initiative to solve problems and deliver great service.
Maintain high health and safety standards and report incidents.
