Job summary

Manpower UK is hiring a 7.5t Driver in Swindon (SN3 5TG). The role offers hourly pay from £17.02 to £26.99, with temporary ongoing contracts and various shifts available. You will join a trusted national logistics operation and play a key part in moving mail, parcels and freight efficiently.

The position requires a valid UK C1 licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card, plus up to 6 penalty points. Expect regular routes and a supportive recruitment team.

Qualifications

• C1 licence held with no more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Experience driving 7.5t vehicles in logistics environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects in line with procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and ensure security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while communicating with the operations team.
• Follow road transport legislation, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
• Multiple drops per shift depending on route.
